Chasse au cerf mulet en Alberta
L’Alberta produit certains des plus grands cerfs mulets du continent. Les ravins et prairies vallonnées du sud-est (WMU de prairie, série 100), les contreforts et le parc produisent des mâles au bois massif, et le mélange de saisons générales et de tirages offre aux résidents de réelles chances de récolter un trophée.
Le cerf mulet à bois dans plusieurs WMU de prairie et de montagne n’est accessible que par tirage ; les opportunités à l’arc sont plus larges. Les dates ci-dessous sont citées du guide actuel des règlements de chasse de l’Alberta, ligne par ligne.
La chasse au cerf mulet en Alberta : l’essentiel
- Fenêtre de saison : l’arc ouvre fin août/1ᵉʳ septembre avant les saisons d’armes à feu de novembre dans les WMU généraux.
- La chasse au gros gibier le dimanche est interdite dans les WMU de prairie (série 102–160) : planifiez vos samedis en conséquence.
- Où : les ravins du sud-est autour des Cypress Hills, les vallées de la rivière Red Deer et les lisières agricoles des contreforts.
- Permis : permis de chasse résident + carte WiN ; vignettes spéciales de tirage pour les WMU trophées via AlbertaRELM.
